Why?
When people are caught up in conflict or misunderstandings it is costly and productivity is reduced, energy is drained and people are stressed.

Mediation enables people in conflict or disagreement to resolve their differences with each other. With the skilled help of a mediator people are given the opportunity to air their grievances constructively, discuss the issues important to them and be heard, and to be assisted in determining a mutually acceptable outcome.

The mediator is educating those involved in effective communication and problem solving strategies for the future.
 

When is mediation called for?

• When two or more individuals are caught up in a difficult conflict

• A grievance has been raised and you need the services of a recognised external mediator

• You have tried everything else and the situation not shifting or is getting worse

• You need to follow due process

What Professional Facilitators offer:

• Mediators skilled in the use of a mediation framework developed over years of experience.

• In house mediation training programs for HR professionals, managers and counselors whose roles benefit from being able to make a mediation style intervention when appropriate.

Our experience:

We have conducted over 70 mediations in a large variety of settings - from corporate to community based. We have successfully conducted mediations in situations such as business partnerships, boards and committees, mergers of companies, between team members and managers, and between colleagues.

Our principal mediator is Shoshana Faire. She has developed her extensive skills over 18 years of mediation experience.
